For Lawar Papaya - 400g green papaya, peeled and grated For Lawar Kacang - 400g snake beans, chopped into 1-2 inch pieces 2 tbs Bali In A Jar Curry Paste 1 tsp Bali In A Jar Chilli Paste 1 tbs vegetable oil 100 g pork mince 1 salam leaf ½ cube chicken stock 1 tbs fried shallots 2 fresh kaffir lime leaves, cut very thin or chopped super fine 50 g grated (or desiccated) coconut lightly toasted Salt pepper to taste
Method
Steam grated green papaya/beans for 20 minutes
On a small frypan heat up oil and cook pork mince. Mix in with Bali In A Jar Curry Paste, chicken stock and bay leaf.
In a large bowl add the steamed papaya/beans, cooked mince, toasted coconut and all other ingredients and mix using your hands (with gloves on).
