Ayam Bakar / Balinese Spicy Grilled Chicken

Preparation time: approx. 1 hour
Ingredients
2-3 whole of young small chicken
1 jar of Bali In A Jar Curry Paste
2 tbs of vegetable oil
Cooking spray (oil) for oven tray
Cooking Method:
- Cut chicken pieces open through the breast bone (butterfly the chicken).
- Rub chicken with Bali In A Jar Curry Paste and leave to rest for 10 minutes to allow the sauce to soak into the chicken.
- Preheat oven at 180 degrees. Make sure to spray over tray with cooking spray to stop the chicken sticking to the baking tray.
- Place chicken on tray and heat 20 minutes before turning over and cooking for a further 20 minutes on the other side.
Serve with steamed white rice.
