CHILLI PASTE 220g

The Chilli Paste is the core of many Balinese/Indonesian meals. In addition to being the core ingredient for the Nasi Goreng/Mie Goreng (Fried Rice/Fried Noodle) dishes, this paste can “spice up" the Curry Paste to the desired heat level.

Another tip is to use the paste on hamburgers and sandwiches for the ultimate flavour blast.

Also, with many bakar/goreng (grilled/fried) dishes this savoury/spicy paste is used as a sauce/sambal on the side.

The paste contains a small amount of concentrated shrimp (small prawn) paste – known as terasi in Indonesia.
