Satay sauce is the taste most often associated with Bali – it is a very common sight (and smell!) as you travel around Bali to see people cooking satay meats on skewers over burning coconut husks on the side of the street – with the skewers served with a generous helping of satay sauce. Whilst we have only included 2 recipes with the satay sauce as its base, it is a versatile and extremely easy to prepare sauce that can be used in any meat dish or BBQ.

Naturally the product contains peanuts and ought to be avoided by those suffering from relevant allergies.

Also, due to the peanut content, the sauce may from time to time be unavailable in certain areas due to delays arising from microbial testing that we consider necessary to ensure the product is available to consumers in a fresh, unspoiled state and still replicating the true taste of the sauce as found in Bali.

Peanuts, palm sugar, garlic, chilli, coconut oil, kecap manis, soy sauce, shrimp paste, salt, pepper, fried onion, water, citric acid
