KARE TAHU/BALINESE CREAMY TOFU CURRY

Serves: 4 people

Preparation time: approx. 15 minutes

 

Ingredients:

1 tray of fresh tofu (medium to hard tofu)

4 tbs of vegetable oil

50ml of “Kara” coconut cream

1 jar of Bali In A Jar Veggie Curry Paste

 

Cooking Method:

  1. Drain water from tofu and slice into half sizes
  2. Heat up 3 tbs of vegetable oil in a wok and shallow fry the tofu until brown on all sides. Put aside in a bowl.
  3. Heat up the remaining vegetable oil in the same work and add contents of a whole bottle of Bali In A Jar Veggie Curry Paste. Stir through until fragrant.
  4. Add tofu back into the wok and stir through for 1 minute. Then add the coconut cream and simmer for a further 2 minutes.

Serve with steamed rice
