KARE AYAM/BALINESE CHICKEN CURRY

1 kg chicken thigh fillets or 1 kg chicken pieces
1 jar of Bali In A Jar Chicken Curry Paste
4 tbs of vegetable oil
1 cup of water
50 ml of “Kara” coconut cream (optional)
- Heat oil in a curry pot/wok on high, cook chicken thigh fillets/chicken pieces until brown on all sides.
- Combine the whole contents of a bottle of Bali In A Jar Chicken Curry Paste into the pot/wok containing the chicken, stir for a further 5 minutes while adding water. Cook on high until water is at boiling point.
- Turn stove to a low temperature and let the contents simmer to make sure chicken is cooked on the inside.
- Add coconut cream (optional) and mix through the contents.
Serve as main meal with steamed rice.
